Reo Anderson

Reo was born in 1961 into a musical family. His parents played music with his uncle and aunt. He would watch them play and thought how fun that would be to play guitar. When he was 12 years old that band broke up and his parents asked him and his brother if they wanted to play music. His brother (Jamie) said he wanted to play drums and Reo said he wanted to play guitar. He purchased a 30 dollar (Auratone) electric guitar and began is self taught journey on guitar. The family ban spent 2 weeks learning 60 songs from the 50's and 60's to play for a class reunion. At age 17 the band began travelling all over the United States and Canada playing cover tunes in hotel lounges. His early music influences were Elvis, BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Edward Van Halen.Reo played with many local musicians in the Portland metro area. Around 2004 Reo and Schown began playing together. Since then the Schown Slade Band has had multiple line ups to reach the ultimate line up today. Reo has found his dream band.

Bob Bush

Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Bob Bush began playing piano on a borrowed upright around the age of five.

Completely enthralled by all things music, Bob soon taught himself to play drums, guitar, bass, and marimba, and was playing professionally by age fourteen. He studied synthesis and programming with Greg Phipps, and attended Bowling Green State University on a piano performance scholarship, where he focused on music theory and composition.

In addition to being a keen composer and instrumentalist, Bob is fascinated by music production. He apprenticed under Michael Vail Blum at Titan Studios in Los Angeles, California. Here, he honed his engineering and mixing skills, and was often called upon to help with arranging and session work as an instrumentalist.

Currently, Bob owns Motate Music. Taking nature as his main inspiration, he composes emotionally sweeping musical landscapes for ballet and soundtracks. He also works on a wide variety of projects ranging from hip-hop production, to corporate media editing, to live performances. As a solo artist, Bob releases music under the project name Yuki Kuma. Recent works include the EP Silks (Yuki Kuma, 2020), Beauty in You (Oregon Ballet Theater, 2020), The Rose (Oregon Ballet Theater, 2023), and Inside Voice (Boulder Ballet, 2023).

Shane Cantrell

Shane was born into a musical family and introduced to the rock band KISS at age 3 by his cousin, and he knew at that point he was going to be a musician himself. He had his first taste of playing music in the 7th grade when he picked up the drums in music class and fell in love playing drums. It wasn't until he was about 19 years old that he jumped in and started practicing relentlessly on the drums and by the age of 21 started playing live in clubs with his first cover band . At the age of 22 he joined his first serious cover band Richter Scale which became very popular in the early to mid 90's where they played countless shows throughout Oregon. He played with Richter scale for about 6 years before deciding he needed to take a break for a while. When he turned 29 he moved to Spokane Washington and joined a shock rock band he played drums for for about 2 years he then stepped down from drums due to issues with his knees and was not able to play the way he was used to playing and at that time, he decided to pick up the guitar instead. He started up an original rock/ Metal band and at that point things really started changing for him, he developed a new love for performing. After going through about 3 different bands he finally had found the right group of musicians to make up the band he was hoping for, the band was named Invasive. Invasive became a force to be reckoned with in Washington state and Idaho opening for numerous touring bands like Queensryche, Drowning Pool, Raven, Jimmy Van Zant, and many others. His endeavor with Invasive went on for about 7 years when he decided to step down and again take a break to be more involved with his family life. At that time he joined another cover band called Ittz Cuzzen he was in this band for about 6 years and was also a sound engineer at this time as well. He quit playing and engineering sound in late 2020 to care for his wife who had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She lost her battle in March of 2022 he then decided to re join Ittz Cuzzen which dismantled about a year later. At that point he decided to make a big change and move back to Oregon. After being in oregon for about 3 months he joined his brothers band The Schown Slade Band on guitar, bass and background vocals it's been a long journey but he has found his home once again with music and family.
